Celebrate Launch Day on the Bay at India Basin Waterfront Park (900 Innes Avenue) on Saturday, August 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hosted by Rocking the Boat San Francisco, this free, family-friendly event celebrates the naming and first launch of a 16-foot rowboat built from scratch by local youth in the organization's Bayview-Hunters Point boat shop. Visitors can witness the boat's first launch into San Francisco Bay, enjoy free boat rides, food, drinks and entertainment and meeting the young boatbuilders behind the project.
