Kick off summer at India Basin Waterfront Park (900 Innes Avenue) on Saturday, June 7 for the first occurrence of our new event series: First Saturdays at the Waterfront.

The initial event for this free series will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and feature comedy legend Carlos Mencia, as well as performances from talented local artists.

Attendees can enjoy live music, comedy acts, kids’ activities, free boat rides, and a variety of food vendors—all set against the backdrop of one of San Francisco’s newest waterfront destinations.

Additionally, Rocking the Boat (RTB) will have its first ever spring launch as the Neptune, a boat originally built in 2004 by students in the Bronx, will be put back out in the waters of the Pacific. The launch will also be the official kick off to RTB's community rowing season.

Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to join the fun and dance by the water as summer officially begins.
