Kick off summer at India Basin Waterfront Park (900 Innes Avenue) on Saturday, June 7 for the first occurrence of our new event series: First Saturdays at the Waterfront.

The initial event for this free series will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and feature comedy legend Carlos Mencia and Bay Area icon Chuy Gomez, as well as performances from talented local artists. Attendees can enjoy live music, comedy acts, kids’ activities, free boat rides, and a variety of food vendors—all set against the stunning backdrop of one of San Francisco’s newest waterfront destination.

Additionally, Rocking the Boat will have its first ever spring launch as the Neptune, a boat originally built in 2004 by students in the Bronx, will be put back out in the waters of the Pacific.

Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to join the fun and dance by the water as summer officially begins.
