Join Conni’s Summer Art Kickoff on the Waterfront for a joyful afternoon of art, nature and community at the India Basin Waterfront Park (900 Innes Avenue). The event, taking place Wednesday, July 9 from 4 to 7 p.m., will feature free sips and snacks, scenic views, and a celebration of Black joy in nature. Select attendees may be invited to participate in Conni’s new art project, which highlights Black connection to the outdoors. The event will be held in the Archie Green Community Room.
