Kick off the month at India Basin Waterfront Park (900 Innes Avenue) on August 2 for the First Saturday at the Waterfront Family Day. It will take place from noon to 4 p.m., where attendees can enjoy live music, kids’ activities, free boat rides, free haircuts and more—all set against the backdrop of one of San Francisco’s newest waterfront destinations.

As a part of this day, we will be celebrating the life and legacy of John "Iesha" Ena, who spent more than 20 years of her life serving and uplifting the Samoan community. She will be honored with a Samoan Dance from the Samoan Community Development Center.
