Cofferdam installation along the Marineway is complete, with dewatering and excavation now underway. Utility work continues at the future boathouse in preparation for an upcoming concrete pour, while crews form steps and landings for the basketball courts following approval of the design mockups.
Demolition of the former PG&E pit has also begun. Soil from the marine surcharge area has been approved for reuse as backfill, with that work anticipated to begin on Wednesday, October 14 and continue for about two weeks.
